Recently OIE (World Organization for Animal Health) posted on their website a finding of a Red sea bream iridoviral disease at Viento Frio, Panama.
In July/August this year, during routine testing one small group of fish from the Open Blue hatchery tested positive for Iridovirus. Subsequent testing on the same group of fish with three separate labs showed negative results for ISKNV/RSIV. Iridovirus is a reportable disease to OIE.
